[A new surgical orientation to the internal auditory canal (author's transl)]

The transtemporal extradural approach to the internal auditory canal is made easier by use of certain definite landmarks. These, which are novel, can be demonstrated with the use of a newly developed instrument that is attached to the dura retractor.
