Abstract:
This is my account of the care I helped to provide for a suicidal client while I was in my second year of a nursing degree course. At the time I was on placement with a community psychiatric nurse who worked with homeless people. My involvement taught me much about the importance of being a well-rounded person as well as a nurse.
