Factors affecting the clinical measurement of visuo-spatial neglect.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To assess neglect within "grasping space" using visual and tactile search tasks.
  • To compare the performance of patients with left and right brain damage (with and without neglect) to controls.

  • Performance was evaluated in 10 left brain-damaged (LBD) patients, 20 right brain-damaged (RBD) patients (10 RBD+ with neglect, 10 RBD- without neglect), and age-matched controls.
