Purpose of the Study:

  • To investigate the relationship between endothelial function and LV performance in patients with essential hypertension.
  • To assess the impact of L-arginine infusion on renal hemodynamics and its correlation with LV diastolic parameters.

  • Study included 39 normotensive (NT) and 46 never-treated hypertensive (HT) patients.
  • Patients were categorized based on renal vasodilatory response to L-arginine infusion.
