The application of computers to dentistry--an introduction
Abstract:
Computers can be surprisingly easy to learn and use and can be very useful, particularly for time-consuming and repetitive tasks. They do take time and effort to learn but, with proper training, this time and effort will be very quickly repaid. On the other hand, computers are not suitable for everybody, for various reasons. Whether they would be beneficial to you or not is a matter of choice. Computers are not something to fear but their use should be directed so as to maximise their benefits while minimising their drawbacks.
