Massive benign cyst at the site of bone plating: a case report
Abstract:
A patient with a massive benign cyst occurring in relation to a Sherman plate which had been inserted 30 years previously is reported, and the literature is reviewed. It is suggested that the probable cause was a low-grade inflammatory response to the metal.
