Summary

This study found that pyridinoline cross-linked carboxyterminal telopeptide, an osteoclastic marker, is a better indicator of bone metastasis in prostate cancer than prostate-specific antigen (PSA). It may help monitor metastatic bone activity alongside PSA and bone scans.
