Perioperative nursing care at Muhimbili Medical Center: a proposal for improvement

Observations have suggested that, although routine nursing procedures such as checking vital signs and making beds were being performed, interventions addressing specific aspects of perioperative nursing were being overlooked in Tanzania. Thus, a study is being designed to determine how well patients are being cared for throughout the perioperative experience at Muhimbili Medical Centre (MMC), Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
