Preoperative nursing in Zimbabwe

Perioperative nursing is a term used to describe the variety of nursing functions associated with the patient's surgical experience. However, with the exception of a few variations to accommodate local conditions and cultural considerations nursing interventions of the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases are no different from those in other parts of the world. This article describes preoperative nursing in Zimbabwe.
