[Reactive oxygen forms in pathogenesis of selected eye diseases]

The paper presents mechanisms by which reactive oxygen forms appear in the eyeball and their effects on the tissues. They play an important role in pathogenesis of many eye diseases, especially in cataract, age-related macular degeneration and retinopathy of prematurity.
