Abstract:
This chapter considers states of overstimulation in young children, especially those who present with symptomatology consistent with a phenomenologic diagnosis of AD/HD (distractible, overactive, and impulsive). These children tend to have a history of overstimulation as well as other common developmental factors. Characteristic aspects of the deviational ego development of these children are described.
