[New developments in the treatment of oral candidal infection]

There have been developed new stomatologic parodontal films (SPF) containing an antifungal substance CMN. Treatment of patients with acute pseudomembranous candidiasis, acute atrophic candidiasis and chronic atrophic candidiasis runs 4 to 5 days instead of 7-9 with the traditional method of application of 2% levorin ointment; no reinfection was noted to occur. The medicinal preparation is highly effective and convenient for use.
