[The reason for the removal of springing foreign bodies in the esophagus]

The author described a group of 28 prisoners with the springing foreign bodies. In this group were follow foreign bodies diagnosed: so called anchors, crabs and crossbreeds. Three prisoners no consent to esophagoscopy and two, with symptoms of thoracic esophageal perforation, were treated in Thorax Surgery Department. 21 foreign bodies were removal esophagoscopical and 2 remaining were extracted by the lateral pharyngotomy. Own observations have confirmed the effectiveness of esophagoscopy in removal of the springing foreign bodies in the esophagus.
