[The nurse and her body concept during hospital work]

The objective of this qualitative study is to identify the conception of body by nurses, their perception about their own bodies and about the patient's body during the work process in the hospital context. The results have showed that the body is seen by nurses as a unit, an object and a sensitive unit revealing their own bodies perception as worn tool in the work process.
