Purpose of the Study:

  • To investigate the association between various hematological parameters and glucose concentration with 30-day case fatality in stroke patients.
  • To identify independent predictors of short-term mortality following a stroke event.

  • A prospective, population-based study involving 345 stroke patients admitted within 72 hours of onset.
