Summary

Continuous hyperthermic peritoneal perfusion (CHPP) is a potentially safe treatment for peritoneal carcinomatosis. While some patients showed improvement, long-term benefits require further study in digestive tract cancer.

Background:

Purpose of the Study:

  • To evaluate the safety and efficacy of continuous hyperthermic peritoneal perfusion (CHPP) in patients with peritoneal carcinomatosis.

  • CHPP was administered to 10 patients with digestive tract cancer and peritoneal carcinomatosis.
