Summary

Fumonisin B1 (FB1) intoxication in chickens can alter blood clotting and serum proteins, even at low doses. Recovery periods showed no lasting effects on these parameters in young chicks.

    • These findings highlight the potential risks of FB1 exposure in poultry farming and the importance of feed monitoring.
