Abstract:
On the basis of personal experience and of data in the specialized literature, the author supports the complex treatment of prostatic cancer, by radiation, surgery and hormones. Castration should be performed from the beginning. Neither should the advanced stages of the disease be abandoned because total prostato-vesiculo-cystectomy, followed by radiation therapy of pelvic lymph-nodes and hormone administration may still have encouraging results.
