Abstract:
The author presents the results of conservative treatment of renal injuries in children. In the investigated clinical group (9 children) six children were treated conservatively (67%) and surgical revision was made in three children (33%). In two instances nephrectomy was performed and in one instance conservative surgery. The function of the injured kidney was preserved in all children treated conservatively and in the child with conservative renal surgery.
