Summary

Levovist, an ultrasound contrast agent, enhances transcranial Doppler (TCD) and transcranial color-coded duplex sonography (TCCD) imaging. This improves visualization of intracranial vasculature in patients with poor baseline signals, aiding cerebrovascular disease diagnosis safely.

Background:

  • Transcranial Doppler (TCD) and transcranial color-coded duplex sonography (TCCD) are safe ultrasound neuroimaging techniques.
