Abstract:
HIV/AIDS is now a world-wide problem affecting individuals of all ages and from many backgrounds. Health-care professionals may not give sufficient consideration to the possibility of HIV infection in older people. Misdiagnosis of AIDS in older people has serious implications for care and infection risks.
