Abstract
Objective:
On CT scans obtained for male trauma patients at our institution, we have noted a significant number of cryptorchid testes that have subsequently been shown to be retractile. Our objective was to alert the clinician to this potentially significant finding.
Conclusion:
Cryptorchidism is associated with significant risks and, when found incidentally, needs to be differentiated from retractile tests and confirmed clinically.
