[Changes in the ocular tension of dialysis patients]
1Clinica de medicină internă Croiova.
Abstract:
The paper represents one study of intraocular pressure effected at number of twenty patients with chronic Renal insufficiency, treated by dialysis, comparing the values of the intraocular pressure before and after the dialysis, we have found that the intraocular pressure has increased at twenty four eyes (64%) of the cases, white at eleven eyes (27,5%) the pressure failed and at fives eyes (12.5%) it has been constant. The increase of the intraocular pressure has never determined the increase over the upper borderline of 21 mmHg. The variations of the intraocular pressure postdialysis may be explained by some modifications into the osmolarity field.
