Summary

Central neurocytomas with a high MIB-1 labeling index (MIB-1 LI) over 2% show increased vascular proliferation and a higher relapse rate. These findings support classifying high MIB-1 LI neurocytomas as atypical central neurocytomas, WHO grade II.
