Partial nephrectomy in a cystic partially differentiated nephroblastoma

Summary

Cystic partially differentiated nephroblastoma (CPDN) is a rare kidney tumor. Successful treatment in a newborn was achieved with partial nephrectomy, showing a favorable long-term prognosis.

Background:

Cystic partially differentiated nephroblastoma (CPDN) is a rare kidney neoplasm.
CPDN presents as a cystic lesion with embryonic cells in cyst septa.
Imaging may suggest CPDN or benign cystic nephroma (CN).
