Summary
Elderly patients with Parkinsonism (PK) face higher risks of postoperative complications and mortality after gastrointestinal surgery compared to those with cerebrovascular disease (CVD) or no comorbidities (ND). Pulmonary complications significantly increase mortality risk in PK patients.
