Superparamagnetic iron oxide-enhanced fast spin-echo (SE) magnetic resonance (MR) imaging significantly improves the detection and diagnostic accuracy of focal liver lesions compared to other sequences.     • This sequence exhibits the highest diagnostic accuracy among the evaluated MR imaging techniques for hepatic lesions.
    • The findings support the clinical utility of SPIO-enhanced fast SE for improved liver lesion characterization.
