Diagnosis and treatment of destructive behavior in dogs

Destructive behavior in dogs can be expensive for owners and life-threatening for dogs. The human-companion animal bond is jeopardized. Treatment includes modification of both behavior and environment and may incorporate the judicious use of psychotropic medication.
