Abstract:
Rupture and development of hypertension represent frequent complications of renal artery aneurysms. We report the case of a 27-year-old patient with pain in the region of the right kidney due to a large renal artery aneurysm. This aneurysm induced partial, obstructive hydrocalicosis. The aneurysm was clearly differentiated from the dilated calices by color Doppler sonography and contrast-enhanced spiral CT.
