Summary

Late Borrelia burgdorferi infection caused bilateral sensorineural hearing loss in a patient. Prompt antibiotic treatment led to a full recovery from deafness and neurological symptoms.

  • The patient achieved complete resolution of hearing loss and neurological symptoms after a five-week course of oral antibiotics.
