Summary

Allergic sinusitis (AS) can be distinguished from chronic suppurative sinusitis (CSS) by identifying activated eosinophils. This finding aids in differentiating these inflammatory sinus conditions for better diagnosis and treatment.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To characterize inflammatory cells in AS.
  • To determine if AS patients differ from CSS patients based on cellular infiltration.
