Summary

Immediate sheath removal after percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA) is safe and effective. Reducing hemostatic puncture closing device (HPCD) deployment time to 5 minutes does not increase bleeding risks, improving patient comfort and staff efficiency.
