Stable isotope studies in inborn errors of metabolism--implications and conclusions

Stable isotope studies have considerable potential to help understand the biochemistry and pathophysiology of inborn errors of metabolism but this has not yet been fully realised. It is to be hoped that this symposium will prove to be a valuable stimulus to this field of research.
