Summary

Smooth intramural, kink-resistant polyester vascular prostheses demonstrate excellent healing, maintaining a 100% patency rate in aortic implantations. These prostheses show significantly reduced neointimal formation compared to crimped controls, proving their feasibility for small artery substitution.
