Abstract:
Pelvic fractures can be devastating injuries that pose an immediate threat to life and a need for prolonged rehabilitation. The pelvic stabilizer can be used in the resuscitation phase to control hemorrhage, stabilize fractures, and allow more time to provide definitive care. Eventually the success of long-term rehabilitation will be affected by the incidence and severity of complications associated with excessive blood loss and the problem associated with an injured pelvis.
