Background:

  • Hepatic hydatid cysts, caused by echinococcal disease, are traditionally treated with surgical cystectomy.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To compare the safety and efficacy of percutaneous drainage versus surgical cystectomy for hepatic hydatid cysts.
