The development of interactive teaching material in forensic science at the University of Strathclyde

As part of the continued development of the forensic science teaching programme at the University of Strathclyde, a CD-ROM multi-media package for integration into the undergraduate teaching programme in the analysis of drugs of abuse has been developed. The perceived need for the programme is described. The required resources for development of the package, including staff time, teaching material, hardware and software and technical skills are outlined. The developmental process for the design and production of the package is described. The final outcome of the project is discussed.
