X-ray phototherapy for canine brain masses

Summary

This study shows that a novel radiation therapy using iodinated contrast media and a modified CT scanner (CTRx) significantly extended survival in dogs with brain tumors. Treated dogs survived a median of 230 days, outperforming conventional radiation and untreated controls.
