[The preservability of carboxyhemoglobin in cadaveric blood]

Changes in the concentrations of carboxyhemoglobin were followed up in 28 specimens of cadaveric blood at two temperature regimens (0 to 4 and 18 to 22 degrees C) for 4 weeks. The content of carboxyhemoglobin under these conditions is stable and in some cases changes but negligibly (by no more than 9 to 18%).
