Abstract:
The search for the cause of subcalcaneal heel pain involves a range of elements from the height of the patient's shoe heels to the presence of concomitant disease. Heel pain that interferes with daily activities, particularly when mobility is a job requirement, worries the patient and challenges the clinician. However, most patients improve with or without treatment.
