[Cytologic examination during operation of endometrial cancer (author's transl)]

In order to prevent vaginal recurrences after hysterectomy for endometrial cancer, a operation method is described which permits sampling of endometrial cells and enables cytologic examination, evaluation of sensitation response and radiation response and search for vital cancer cells after preoperative irradiation. In 84 endomentrial carcinomas operated upon using this procedure no vaginal reccurences have been met.
