Abstract:
Description of 30 cases de TUR of adenomas over 70 grams, in the setting of prostate surgery performed in the County Hospital of Don Benito between January 1992 and December 1995. The most interesting conclusion is that, in spite of the large series published stating that larger adenomas undergoing transurethral resection cause greater morbidity and mortality, our group believes that they are both directly proportional to the resection time required but not to volume, and in our series there has been no statistically significant differences.
