    Background:

    • Rising incidence of endometrial malignancy necessitates improved detection methods.
    • Current cervical-vaginal smears are insufficient for detecting endometrial neoplasia.
    • Existing diagnostic techniques for endometrial lesions are often costly and time-consuming.

    Observation:

    • A novel, economical, and reliable technique for rapid smearing and fixation of endometrial cells was developed.
    • The Milan-Markley technique was applied to 1143 specimens from 739 patients for routine endometrial screening.

    Findings:

    • The study detected 4 cases of endometrial carcinoma.
    • Additionally, 1 case of fallopian tube carcinoma, 22 cases of endometrial hyperplasia, and 9 cases of endometrial polypi were identified.
