Summary

Fluoroscopically guided fine-needle aspiration of the intervertebral disk space is a safe alternative for diagnosing diskospondylitis in dogs. This minimally invasive technique successfully identified bacterial infections in disk samples, aiding diagnosis when other cultures were negative.
