    Summary

    This study analyzed 12 duodenal cancer cases, finding adenocarcinomas and leiomyosarcomas. Surgical resection offered better survival, especially for leiomyosarcomas, highlighting the need for timely diagnosis and treatment of duodenal neoplasms.

    Background:

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To review clinical characteristics, treatment, and outcomes of primary duodenal neoplasms.
    • To compare the presentation and prognosis of adenocarcinoma and leiomyosarcoma of the duodenum.
