Abstract:
A group treatment program for enhancing self-esteem was examined in relation to outcomes for a mixed diagnostic group of mental health clients and for a comparison group of non-clients. Both groups reported satisfaction with the program and showed improvement on self-esteem scores from pretest to the posttest. The program proved practical in terms of implementation, evaluation, and member satisfaction.
