[Male patient with anterior left hemiblock simulating anteroseptal infarct]
Abstract:
One case with left anterior hemiblock is described with ECG and image, simulating anteroseptal infarction. The precordial recording one intercostal space below facilitates the correct interpretation of the electrocardiogram. A short survey on the mechanism of septum activation is carried out and an explanation is given to the ECG changes, described, manifested with the appearance of Q peaks in the precordial V1-V3 leads.
