Reflections on the elderly African American in health care

This article discusses the demographics of the elderly in America and how these demographics relate to the minority elderly with specific focus on the African American elderly. The special health risks of this group are discussed. The Giger and Davidhizar Model is used to assess health risks among the African American Elderly.
