Training included assessing necessary supplies and theoretical knowledge, tailored to the caregiver's schedule.
Pre-discharge coordination with visiting nurse teams ensured continuity of care.

Findings:

The developed HPN guidance program, incorporating schedules and practical training, was well-received by patients and families.
Caregiver training effectively addressed and mitigated common problems and fears associated with HPN.
The structured approach facilitated the establishment of a reliable medical support system at home.

Implications:

Implementing structured HPN caregiver training can significantly improve patient outcomes and reduce caregiver burden.
This model demonstrates a successful strategy for enhancing home-based medical care delivery.
Addressing psychological barriers is key to successful long-term home healthcare management.
