|March 15, 1976
Abstract:
Actinomycotic peritonitis in a 5-year-old female German Shorthaired Pointer was characterized by abdominal enlargement, a draining tract in the paralumbar fossa, and chronic debilitation. Clinical recovery resulted from excision of a granulomatous abdominal mass in combination with initial penicillin therapy and prolonged (3 months) sulfonamide therapy.
